Purpose and description of the content of education:
Praktyka katechetyczna w szkole stanowi integralną część kształcenia pedagogicznego studentów, którzy chcą uzyskać kwalifikacje do nauczania religii w szkole ponadpodstawowej. Jest to praktyka przedmiotowo-metodyczna. Ma ona na celu wspomaganie kandydatów na nauczycieli religii w rozwijaniu kompetencji merytorycznych i metodycznych.

Student ma pogłębioną wiedzę z zakresu nauczania religii w szkole ponadpodstawowej, opartą na znajomości podstawy programowej oraz programu nauczania przedmiotu. Student zna i rozumie zadania dydaktyczne realizowane przez placówkę oraz sposób jej funkcjonowania. Posiada wiedzę dotyczącą dokumentacji działalności dydaktycznej prowadzonej przez szkołę. Student potrafi zastosować posiadaną wiedzę do zaplanowania i zrealizowania lekcji z przedmiotu „Religia”. Potrafi wyciągnąć wnioski z obserwowanej pracy dydaktycznej oraz przy pomocy opiekuna praktyk i nauczycieli akademickich prowadzących zajęcia, dokonać analizy zdarzeń i sytuacji pedagogicznych zaobserwowanych w czasie praktyk.
