Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module aims to learn new methods of activating and motivating clients to take action to improve a problematic situation. People participating in the classes will learn about the specifics of the change process, including the issue of resistance, as well as approaches implemented in the stream of positive social work focused on the resources and potential of the supported people. The problems discussed also indicate the critical role of a social worker in building a professional relationship and introducing innovative methods of working with a "difficult" client. Participation in the course allows you to understand the importance of a subjective approach to the client, releasing his potential, as well as the role of the systems in which the client operates and the resources inherent in these systems, enabling the building of a social support network by activating the local community (networking in social work).
