Purpose and description of the content of education:
The interpersonal training module aims to increase students' self-awareness and self-knowledge of their intrapsychic and interpersonal functioning to improve social skills and competencies in the social work profession. The course aims to develop skills in effective interpersonal communication, the ability to undertake group cooperation, and realizing individual and group goals based on knowledge of interpersonal communication. The workshop work focused on the evaluation and development of own interpersonal competencies, and learning about the competencies required to perform the diverse professional roles of a social worker will form the basis for preparation for the social worker's professional career. The Social worker will form the basis for practice for active cooperation in teams, organizations and social welfare institutions. The course aims to develop interpersonal skills especially relevant to professional strengthening social work oriented towards empowering supported persons. The axiological functions of training are realized by creating conditions for forming attitudes towards socio-moral values are essential for raising the culture of cooperation and pro-social behaviour.
