Programme code: W2-S2GE19.2022

Module name: Instrumental methods in geology
Module code: 2GE-403
Programme code: W2-S2GE19.2022
Semester:
  • winter semester 2024/2025
  • winter semester 2023/2024
  • winter semester 2022/2023
Language of instruction: Polish
Form of verification: exam
ECTS credits: 5
Description:
Instrumental methods in geology will enable students to learn in-depth about modern methods of chemical, structural and spectroscopic analysis of minerals and organic substances, both natural and human. The student will acquire the ability to select an appropriate research method and carry out measurements, and will be able to prepare a report containing a critical discussion of the results obtained.
Prerequisites:
Recommended: basics of mineralogy and geochemistry.
