Purpose and description of the content of education:
Moduł obejmuje podstawowe zagadnienia dotyczące specyfiki socjologicznej perspektywy postrzegania zjawisk i procesów społecznych. Uczestnicy kursu są zaznajamiani z pojęciami socjologicznymi, co pozwoli opanować niezbędne narzędzia do właściwego rozumienia treści przekazywanych w obrębie innych modułów kierunkowych. Omawiane są najistotniejsze teorie socjologiczne oraz paradygmaty obecne zarówno w klasycznej, jak i współczesnej myśli socjologicznej. W ramach modułu przekazywana jest wiedza na temat usytuowania socjologii wśród innych nauk, wraz z zaznaczeniem interdyscyplinarnego potencjału dyscypliny. Nadrzędnym celem jest przedstawienie studentowi specyfiki socjologii traktowanej jako dyscyplina naukowa oraz zwrócenie uwagi na wielość i zróżnicowanie pól problemowych poruszanych w jej obrębie. Moduł ma dostarczyć bazowej wiedzy, umiejętności i kompetencji, umożliwiających efektywne przyswajanie treści w obrębie modułów ukierunkowanych problemowo.
