Purpose and description of the content of education:
This course aims to familiarise students with activities within the non-public social welfare system and acquire detailed knowledge about the organisation, functioning and tasks performed by non-governmental organisations about various social welfare clients. Thanks to this, the student is expected to understand the need for non-governmental organisations to be involved in creating an aid offer, to acquire the skills of discerning local resources and to be proactive in taking action on behalf of those in need (part of the module for study visits).
