Purpose and description of the content of education: | The module aims to build awareness of the essence and complexity of the helping process and to shape the appropriate attitude of a social worker as a professional. It covers general issues in social work, discusses the participants of the support process, considers the specificity of communication in the assistance relationship and introduces selected roles of a social worker. Particular importance is attached to workshop methods of conducting classes and to presenting one's own opinion in front of the audience. This creates conditions for future social workers to learn and develop skills characteristic of a specialist's workshop. |
