General characteristics of the field of study and the assumed concept of education: | Studia adresowane są do absolwentów studiów I stopnia, w szczególności takich kierunków, jak: organizacja produkcji telewizyjnej i filmowej, zarządzanie, ekonomia, dziennikarstwo, kulturoznawstwo itp. Istotą studiów drugiego stopnia jest kształcenie absolwentów o zdolnościach i umiejętnościach kierowniczych w zakresie produkcji przekazów audiowizualnych, organizacji tego procesu czy dystrybucji. Dotyczy to np. producentów filmowych, producentów streamingowych i telewizyjnych, menadżerów zarządzających w przemysłach kultury, mediach, kinematografii, reklamie, nowych mediach. Studia trwają cztery semestry.
Kształcenie na kierunku obejmuje zajęcia integrujące wiedzę, umiejętności i kompetencje społeczne w ramach bloków programowych: warsztaty tematyczne, seminarium, zarządzanie i komunikacja, finanse i prawo, obraz i dźwięk, kompetencje branżowe.
Blok „warsztaty tematyczne” obejmuje do wyboru 4 warsztaty filmowe, po 2 na każdym semestrze. W ich wyniku student jest zdolny do pełnienia funkcji kierownika telewizyjnego, posiada wiedzę z zakresu procesu produkcji filmowej, sektora finansowego oraz z zakresu autoprezentacji.
Blok „seminarium” obejmuje moduły dyplomowe, takie jak: proseminarium i 2 seminaria magisterskie w kolejnych semestrach. W ich wyniku student posiada umiejętność samodzielnego poszerzania zdobytej wiedzy z zakresu studiowanego kierunku oraz potrafi dokonać krytycznej oceny danych potrzebnych do napisania pracy. Umie w oparciu o merytoryczne argumenty dobrać metody badawcze i sposób analizy do konkretnych problemów związanych z pisaną pracą oraz potrafi samodzielnie stawiać hipotezy badawcze i podejmuje próby ich falsyfikacji, krytycznie odnosząc się do otrzymanych wniosków.

Blok „finanse i prawo” obejmuje moduły obligatoryjne: Finansowanie krótkich form audiowizualnych, Umowy producenckie, Formy zatrudnienia w przemyśle audiowizualnym, Europejskie systemy finansowania w sektorze audiowizualnym. Student może także studiować w ramach modułów do wyboru: Zarządzanie finansami w przemyśle audiowizualnym, Rachunkowość w przemyśle audiowizualnym, Administracja finansowa w przemyśle audiowizualnym, System podatkowy w przemyśle audiowizualnym. W ich wyniku student potrafi samodzielnie sporządzić plan finansowania oraz analizę finansową przedsięwzięcia filmowego, scharakteryzować i stosować w praktyce poznane przepisy prawa oraz normy cywilno-prawne, regulujące zasady zawierania umów zlecenia i umów o dzieło. Posiada umiejętność samodzielnego proponowania rozwiązania problemów pojawiających się w procesie produkcji audiowizualnej i oceny możliwości finansowania danej produkcji z funduszy europejskich.
Blok „obraz i dźwięk” obejmuje takie moduły, jak: Kierunki i autorzy kina współczesnego, Muzyka w filmie, Podstawy reżyserii i pracy z aktorem, Postprodukcja obrazu, Postprodukcja dźwięku. Po uzyskaniu zaliczenia z tych modułów student dostrzega i potrafi zdiagnozować i sproblematyzować związki artystycznych i komercyjnych osiągnięć współczesnego kina. Posiada umiejętność opowiedzenia montażem historii, zapamiętania i odtworzenia stanów emocjonalnych. Potrafi samodzielnie ocenić jakie działania i jakie usługi będą konieczne do przeprowadzenia prawidłowo etapu postprodukcji.
Blok „kompetencje branżowe” obejmuje takie moduły, jak: Analiza scenariuszowa, Proces produkcji filmowej, Dystrybucja utworów audiowizualnych, Proces produkcji telewizyjnej, Promocja utworu audiowizualnego, Współpraca międzynarodowa w dziedzinie kinematografii, Autoprezentacja w zawodzie producenta, Copywriting, Dobre praktyki w przemyśle audiowizualnym, Filmowe strategie festiwalowe. Po ich ukończeniu student potrafi używać nowoczesnych metod czytania scenariusza oraz zbudować strategie dystrybucji filmu o potencjale artystycznym i komercyjnym. Umie skonstruować poprawną eksplikację i streszczenie filmu. Potrafi przygotować się do wystąpień publicznych oraz ma umiejętności krytycznej analizy przykładów poszczególnych reklam i potrafi ocenić i zweryfikować przejrzystość i rozliczalność danego projektu.
Zajęcia w ramach modułów prowadzone są przez wykładowców, profesorów i doktorów oraz zawodowych producentów, menedżerów kultury, operatorów filmowych, realizatorów, reżyserów. , specjalistów w dziedzinie reklamy i public relations. Dzięki temu studenci uczestniczą nie tylko w wykładach i ćwiczeniach, ale także zabierani są na plany telewizyjno-filmowe, gdzie wykonując określone działania zlecone przez prowadzącego mają okazję skonfrontować wiedzę teoretyczną z praktyką wykonywania zawodów filmowych. Doskonaleniu umiejętności i zawodowych predyspozycji służy też udział studentów w realizacji prac praktycznych przyszłych reżyserów i operatorów, a także zaangażowanie w działania przygotowujące różnorodne imprezy artystyczno-filmowe, przeglądy i festiwale.
Studia kończą się złożeniem i obroną pisemnej pracy dyplomowej (magisterskiej) podejmującej wybrany problem teoretyczny lub praktyczny związany z planem studiów. Po zdaniu egzaminu dyplomowego studenci otrzymują tytuł zawodowy magistra.
Przygotowanie teoretyczne, umiejętności zawodowe i kompetencje społeczne predestynują absolwentów do podjęcia pracy na stanowiskach samodzielnego producenta, kierownika produkcji i menedżera w przemyśle audiowizualnym. Mogą również obejmować funkcje kierownicze w firmach dystrybutorskich, instytucjach kultury i impresariatu artystycznego, a także w podmiotach funkcjonujących na rynku reklamy.

Graduation requirements: | The condition for admission to the diploma examination is to achieve the learning outcomes provided for in the study program, to obtain a certificate of an appropriate level of language proficiency in a foreign language and to obtain positive grades for the diploma dissertation. The condition for graduation is to pass the diploma examination with at least a satisfactory result. A graduate receives a higher education diploma confirming obtaining the qualifications of the appropriate degree.

The student possesses knowledge in the preparation of production contracts and the types of financial sources for audiovisual productions (public and private) in Poland, in accordance with the principles of entrepreneurship. They are familiar with forms of civil law employment and have knowledge of cost plans, reports, and result-based cost estimates.
