General description of the programme: | Mediterranean Studies are focused on culture, literature and history of Mediterranean countries and Mediterranean region as a whole. In the syllabus the predominant role is given to the tradition and heritage of Classical Antiquity and Middle Ages. THE COURSES ARE NOT PROVIDED IN ENGLISH. |

Organization of the process of obtaining a degree: | 1) zasady wyboru/przydzielania promotora:
Promotorem może być pracownik Wydziału Filologicznego z tytułem lub stopniem naukowym. Jest on wybierany przez studenta/studentkę na podstawie jego/jej zainteresowań naukowych.
2) sposób zatwierdzania tematów prac dyplomowych:
Zatwierdzanie tematów prac dyplomowych odbywa się w ramach Wydziału Filologicznego
z wykorzystaniem systemu Archiwum Prac Dyplomowych, zwanego systemem APD. System APD dostępny jest pod adresem https://apd.us.edu.pl.
Tematy mogą proponować:
• nauczyciele akademiccy
• zainteresowani/e studenci/studentki
Tematy prac dyplomowych powinny być zgodne z realizowanym kierunkiem studiów. Przy ich ustalaniu należy uwzględnić zainteresowania naukowe studenta, programy badawcze oraz możliwości wydziału w zakresie opieki naukowej nad daną pracą dyplomową. Tematy powinny być adekwatne do nadawanego tytułu i zgodne z efektami kształcenia ustalonymi dla kierunku. Zgłoszenie tematu odbywa się poprzez złożenie w dziekanacie jednostki podpisanego przez studenta/studentkę dokumentu RTP (Rejestracja Tytułu Pracy) zawierającego: tytuł pracy, tytuł, imię i nazwisko promotora oraz jego podpis. Zmiana tytułu pracy możliwa jest poprzez złożenie ww. dokumentu z uaktualnionym tytułem pracy.
3) wymogi dotyczące recenzji:
Promotor i recenzent są zobowiązani wprowadzić recenzje pracy do systemu APD przed
egzaminem dyplomowym. Wydrukowaną i podpisaną recenzję należy dostarczyć do dziekanatu. Treść zatwierdzonej recenzji jest widoczna dla studenta oraz zostaje automatycznie przesłana do USOS. Po wprowadzeniu recenzji przez promotora oraz recenzenta system automatycznie zmienia status pracy na „Praca gotowa do obrony”. Pracę uznaje się za ocenioną pozytywnie, jeśli uzyskała dwie oceny pozytywne.
4) zasady dopuszczania do egzaminu dyplomowego:
Warunkiem dopuszczenia do egzaminu dyplomowego jest osiągnięcie efektów kształcenia
przewidzianych w programie kształcenia oraz uzyskanie pozytywnych ocen pracy
dyplomowej. Gdy praca uzyskała w APD status „Praca gotowa do obrony”, pracownik dziekanatu wydaje członkom komisji egzaminacyjnej komplet dokumentów (wraz
z wydrukowanym protokołem egzaminu dyplomowego) koniecznych do przeprowadzenia egzaminu dyplomowego studenta.
5) zakres merytoryczny egzaminu:
Podczas egzaminu dyplomowego należy zadać trzy pytania z zakresu pracy dyplomowej
i efektów kształcenia realizowanych w trakcie studiów.
6) forma egzaminu dyplomowego:
Egzamin dyplomowy odbywa się w formie ustnej przed powołaną przez dziekana komisją składającą się z przewodniczącego i dwóch członków (promotor pracy, recenzent pracy). Przynajmniej jeden z członków komisji powinien posiadać co najmniej stopień doktora habilitowanego.
W trakcie egzaminu przeprowadzana jest dyskusja polegająca na zadaniu dwóch pytań ze strony promotora i jednego pytania ze strony recenzenta. Student/studentka odpowiada na pytania a następnie wychodzi z sali egzaminacyjnej na czas ustalania przez komisję oceny (jednogłośnie lub niejednogłośnie). Po powrocie na salę egzaminacyjną otrzymuje informację o ostatecznym wyniku studiów. Podstawą obliczenia ostatecznego wyniku studiów są:
a. średnia arytmetyczna wszystkich ocen z egzaminów i zaliczeń z modułów zaprojektowanych w planie studiów, z uwzględnieniem ocen niedostatecznych uzyskanych w ciągu całego okresu studiów. Ocen z wychowania fizycznego nie wlicza się do średniej.
b. ocena z pracy ustalona na podstawie ocen promotora i recenzenta. W przypadkach spornych decyduje przewodniczący komisji.
c. ocena z egzaminu licencjackiego lub magisterskiego ustalona na podstawie ocen cząstkowych uzyskanych na tym egzaminie.
Ostateczny wynik stanowi sumę 1/2 oceny wymienionej w pkt. a) oraz 1/4 każdej z ocen wymienionych w pkt. b) i c). Jeśli ocena wymieniona w pkt. a) jest niższa niż 3,0, ostateczny wynik nie może być wyższy od dostatecznego.
W przypadku uzyskania z egzaminu dyplomowego oceny niedostatecznej lub nieprzystąpienia do tego egzaminu w ustalonym terminie dziekan wyznacza drugi termin egzaminu. Powtórny egzamin może się odbyć nie wcześniej niż przed upływem jednego miesiąca i nie później niż po upływie trzech miesięcy od daty pierwszego egzaminu.
