Information on the relationship between the studies and the university's strategy as well as the socio-economic needs that determine the conduct of studies and the compliance of learning outcomes with these needs: | W Uniwersytecie Śląskim w Katowicach, jako Uczelni wszechstronnie kształcącej i dysponującej dużym potencjałem naukowym, prowadzone są badania naukowe i kształcenie w dziedzinach nauk humanistycznych, niektórych inżynieryjno-technicznych, społecznych, ścisłych i przyrodniczych, teologicznych, a także w dziedzinie sztuki. Sprzyja temu tworzenie nowych programów nauczania, możliwość zdobywania wiedzy stosownie do zapotrzebowania na rynku pracy, udoskonalanie programów nauczania w sposób odpowiadający wymogom nowoczesnej edukacji.
w multimediach, studia I stopnia o profilu praktycznym.
1. Realizowania unikatowych działań artystycznych wykorzystujących nowoczesne technologie.
2. Badań interdyscyplinarnych.
3. Komparatystyki na osi źródło-innowacja w kontekście kulturowym.
4. Prowadzenia nowatorskiej działalności muzycznej oraz wykorzystania nowych mediów w twórczości muzycznej i działaniach interdyscyplinarnych.
5. Współpracy z zagranicznymi instytucjami naukowymi i artystycznymi
w ramach projektów zespołowych oraz indywidualnych.
Ten zaś cel wpłynie ponadto na osiągnięcie Celu 2 strategii dotyczącego umiędzynarodowienia poprzez m.in. możliwość zintensyfikowania udziału pedagogów i studentów w programach wymiany akademickiej (Erasmus+ i inne).
