Purpose and description of the content of education: | The subject presents the laser scanning technique as a method of obtaining spatial information for the needs of landscape research. The student becomes familiar with the principles of operation of laser techniques, learns about the components of airborne laser scanning and learns about data formats. The student becomes familiar with the point cloud classification procedure and performs exercises based on the numerical elevation model and its derivatives. He acquires the ability to create a longitudinal terrain profile, learns the basics of visibility range analysis and also learns about the example application of laser scanning in landscape research, cultural heritage and nature and landscape protection. |
