Purpose and description of the content of education:
This module, part of practical English, introduces students to the principles of academic writing in English. It covers planning, organizing, and drafting short academic papers, focusing on text structure, thesis clarity, argumentation, and source referencing. The module supports the development of English language competence through the improvement of academic style, formal register usage, and techniques of paraphrasing, quoting, and summarising source material.
