Description:
The module is an introduction to contrastive linguistics from the area of selected issues. This covers, among others, introducing the adequate terminology by means of which the given issues are described, indicating the diversity of ways in which different linguistic categories are realised in different languages, and conducting contrastive analyses of particular issues.
Prerequisites:
Descriptive grammar and practical grammar (in previous semesters), particularly knowledge and abilities connected with grammatical categories and the analysis of sentence structure
