Description:
The purpose of the course is to acquaint students with technical and practical aspects of script-writing with a particular focus on their application in interactive entertainment. During the course the students will learn about the formal elements of the script and the techniques and conventions applicable in the processes of creating and organizing a story and its characters. In its practical dimension the course focuses on exercises devoted to transcribing narrative fragments into specific scenes, evaluating their dramatic impact, sequencing, structuring, organizing and developing the scenes as required. The course also focuses on dialogue and dialogue analysis in interactive entertainment.

Successful completion of the courses in the module "Game Design: Module 1" in the second semester.
