Description:
The aim of the course is to present and discuss major aspects of the history of the USA, especially those responsible for the formation of American statehood, the evolution of American national identity/identities and the position of the USA in the world in the contexts of international relations. Students are expected to develop skills necessary for critical readings of historical processes and their interdisciplinary influence on other areas of research within humanities.
