Description: | The module aims to present selected theoretical approaches to multimedia in contemporary culture, and – predominantly – to provide practical instruction in designing and creating original multimedia forms, the shape and scope of which depending on students' choice. The offered choice includes a course in digital game design, providing the opportunity to further develop game design competences, as well as a course in more general multimedia practices. Students learn about contemporary multimedia practices and techniques of working with multimedia, including the use of computer technologies and other creative tools used in multimedia design. Students develop skills of creative analysis of multimedia and cultural processes taking place around multimedia practices, expressing them in a creative way in their own projects. |
