Description:
The elective module in interpretation of cultural or literature offers a selection of original courses: students choose specific courses from course proposals covering various aspects of interpretation. Depending on students' selection, two or more courses can be taught in the semester. Course proposals can also be focused on interpretation of games. The module aims to develop students' critical awareness and interpretive skills. The module introduces selected trends in contemporary literatures in English or in the culture of English speaking countries, or game culture, emphasizing the role of interpretation and analysis in the reception of these products of culture. The module focuses on the development of analytical and critical thinking skills in order to develop high interpretation competence, through the close reading of source texts as well as accompanying critical and theoretical works.
