Description:
The aim of the course is to develop students' research skills within the humanities. Students broaden their knowledge in the areas covered by the curriculum and develop skills related to a selected methodology of conducting research in the humanities. The specific objective of the course is to improve students’ research toolkit, basing on research methodologies selected with the teacher, including, in particular, the ability to work with scientific sources, the methodology of obtaining sources and data relevant for the selected discipline, synthetic preparation of sources and data, and presentation of results and conclusions in written and oral forms. Classes take the form of a co-authored research project conducted under the supervision of the teacher, in which individual tasks necessary for the project’s completion are performed by designated students under the teacher’s supervision.
