Description: | Students develop the skills necessary for consecutive interpreting. Students learn about the interpreting process and the essential factors having a direct impact on the outcome of interpreting. These factors include interpreting methods and procedures. Students interpret texts from Polish into English and from English into Polish. They work in class (individually, in pairs or as a team) and at home. The texts to interpret vary in terms of genre, subject matter and target readership. |
