Description:
Students acquire and develop the skills to translate a variety of different texts. Students learn about the translation process and the essential factors having a direct impact on the outcome of translation. These factors include translation methods and procedures. Students translate texts from Polish into English and from English into Polish. They work in class (individually, in pairs or as a team) and at home. The texts to translate vary in terms of genre, subject matter and target readership.
