Description:
The course is an integral part of the second degree studies programme. Its aim is to present in detail the current state of knowledge with regard to the selected issues in the field of linguistics, applied linguistics and/ or translation studies, with special emphasis on advanced terminology and a review of theoretical approaches and empirical studies, as well as on potential connections between the scientific knowledge and professional practice. The content of the monographic lecture is specified by the lecturer in the syllabus.
