Description: | Students in conversation classes develop their English speaking skills at the level CPE-C1, improve the fluency of their speech, and further improve correctness and accent. Students are also engaged in interactive exercises of communicative skills. During class, particular emphasis is laid on the expansion of vocabulary, especially thematic vocabulary, and also (due to prepared topics) on the development of the students’ cultural and linguistic awareness. Particular care is given to monitoring the students’ correct interpretation of spoken communication, and students should work at developing the presentation of their own views based upon acquired general knowledge. During classes, the instructor may make use of various kinds of topics that can serve to encourage discussion, engage the students in classroom activity and help them to further develop their own interests. |
Prerequisites: | Evaluation of module 1, 2 and 3
