Description:
Students acquire and develop skills necessary for translating of different text types such as newspaper and scholarly articles, literary texts, etc. Students learn about the translation process and the essential factors having a direct impact on the outcome of translation. These factors include translation methods and procedures. Students translate texts from Polish into English and from English into Polish. The texts to translate vary in terms of genre, subject matter and target readership.
