Description:
The course of the module axiological foundations of intercultural education constitutes an introduction to the broadly understood subject matter of intercultural pedagogy. It is a general and scientific-axiological foundation of the specialization resocialization with intercultural education. The module aims at: introducing students into the knowledge of axiological basics of education in multicultural environments; preparing them for understanding and applying the basic categories used in educational studies in culturally diversified environments; presenting the possibilities of the analysis of different concepts of intercultural education, of reconstructing their assumptions and ideologies; presenting the diversity of axiological doctrines and systems which might be applied in educational practice.
