Description: | Special pedagogy is a module which extends the detailed knowledge concerning disabilities, their determinants, social mechanisms of inclusion and exclusion of disabled and behaviourally disturbed people. The module aims at broadening students' knowledge of theoretical issues of special pedagogy (aims, subdisciplines, position among other sciences, paradigms, notions). It also introduces students into practical issues of educating individuals with deviations from the norm, encourages to undertaking activities for people with developmental and behavioural disorders and instils readiness to provide them with expert pedagogical support by cooperation with various institutions acting for people who are disabled, socially excluded or in conflict with the law or binding customs. |
