Description:
The main aim of the course is to acquire practical skills in conducting various forms of ecological education classes, with particular emphasis on fieldwork. Their main assumptions include: - raising the level of ecological awareness, - promotion of specific behaviors beneficial for the natural environment, - dissemination of knowledge concerning the functioning of ecosystems, - proficiency in conducting reliable discussion on topics related to ecology, - use of data available for mobile devices in environmental didactics. During the course will be discussed planning educational events for different age groups, various forms of classes will be practiced in terrain and stationary classes, the purpose of which is to arouse curiosity, activity and the desire to experience nature and its individual elements. In lectures will present the place of ecological and natural science education in the Polish education system, as well as its significance and presence in various international documents. Its role as a process serving to form knowledge about nature and development sensitivity and willingness to act to shape and protect the environment will be emphasized. Environmental education understood as a psychological and pedagogical process of influencing person and shape his ecological awareness will be discussed.
