Description: | Master diploma laboratory I: acquaints students with the methodology and pragmatics of preparing scientific texts - master thesis. It helps in the preparation of factographic material for the analysis and compilation of results, using GIS methods and techniques which are appropriate for the subject. Supports the process of preparing the text of the master's thesis in relation to the initial and analytical parts, in direct cooperation with the scientific supervisor. This allows for a detailed group discussion of partial steps and the results of basic data analysis and literature research. Verifies the ability to use specialist literature, also in foreign languages. |

The student understands the relationship between the applied research methods of GIS and the quality and accuracy of the obtained
spatial data in order to solve the main problem of the master's thesis. The student understands the complexity of factors affecting the measurement results
on the basis of the student’s general geographical knowledge.
Is able to fluently use international literature to support the analytical research methods, to obtain basic data and to critically
interpret the obtained results, as well as to use specialized techniques and tools to analyse samples and source data. [04-GF-S2-1125_1] |
