Description: | Students acquire and develop the skills to translate a variety of different specialized texts. Students learn about the translation process and the essential factors having a direct impact on the outcome of translation. These factors include translation methods and procedures. Students translate texts from Polish into English and from English into Polish. They learn how to find and verify specialized vocabulary. They know how to use not only dictionaries, but also parallel texts, the Internet and corpora. |
