Students are aware of the scope and level of acquired knowledge and skills. They understand the necessity of continuous development in terms of intellectual, practical and social skills, as well as set path for their further development. [TJ-S2_TJJ1-1_K1]

Students use the skills of creative thinking and critical observation of socio-cultural reality for the proper organization of work and cooperation; a realistic establishing of tasks and their efficient realization. [TJ-S2_TJJ1-1_K2]

Students can apply their knowledge in doing different types and forms of translation of general and specialized texts and oral utterances from Japanese and to Japanese [TJ-S2_TJJ1-1_U1]

Students have translation competence in the English language in connection with the Japanese language [TJ-S2_TJJ1-1_W1]

For each class students’ presence, students’ activity and students’ preparation for classes is checked and evaluated.

short written or oral tests to verify students’ knowledge of the vocabulary given by the teacher vocabulary

Ongoing evaluation of texts translated by students (from Japanese to English or Polish and from English or Polish to Japanese) in the form of homework or class, current evaluation of the oral translations done by students during classes (from Japanese into English or Polish and from English or Polish into Japanese)

Workshop type classes involving independent translation of texts from English or Polish to Japanese and vice versa, confrontation of translations in the form of groupwork and individual work, (consecutive and simultaneous) interpreting of spoken texts.

Class participation, preparation for classes by doing homework, preparing for written translations and interpreting, preparation for vocabulary tests.
