Description:
Students continue to develop translation skills. Students learn about translation process and the essential factors having a direct impact on the outcome of translation. These factors include translation methods and procedures. Students translate texts from Polish into English and from English into Polish. The texts to translate vary in terms of genre, subject matter and target readership.

The student must interpret consecutively a short text chosen for him or her by the teacher whocomments on the student’s interpreting output. Each student is assessed separately and the teacher makes comments on a one-to-one basis about each student’s performance.
