Elective sourse: a) history of language b) historical grammar a) The module’s aim is to acquaint students with phenomena of their major language development in the context of general civilisational development, as well as formation of speech and writing systems. b) the main aim of the module is to acquaint students with the basic phenomena of historical grammar.

The default mode is a written exam, but for in case of clear student preferences an oral exam is also allowed. In both cases the student selects two questions out of the pool of 20 that were discussed in detail in class.
