Description: | Within the subject Andragogy, the student has the possibility to acquire enriched knowledge on history (the beginning of adult education in Poland and worldwide, particularly the output of secret adult education in the time of partitions, II Republic of Poland, the occupation and communist Poland). The student understands the tendencies and specificity of education in difficult times of communist Poland, especially in the period of socialist realism, the economic and social phase. S/he can indicate the major fields of adult education and particular andragogies – from agricultural andragogy to odd disciplines. The student knows the specificity of adult education, has the knowledge of the principles, methods, forms of adult didactics and the most important subjects/institutions and associations of adult education. S/he knows the aims and tasks of particular andragogies, educational disciplines, centres and institutions associated with self-education and is familiar with their functions. The student knows the bordering, supporting, social and other sciences related to andragogy. S/he knows biographies/achievements of eminent andragogists and practitioners of adult education, knows local and regional andragogical (methodological) press, knows local and regional institutions of adult eduction. The student knows didactic systems and the principles of adult didactics. |
