Description:
The contents of the module E-learning and lifelong education in the prevention and solving of social problems familiarize students with the knowledge of socio-pathological phenomena, social problems, as well as stereotypes, prejudice and discrimination. Students acquire competences to diagnose problems, they organize their knowledge and skills associated with designing preventive programmes and those aimed at reacting to and preventing sociopathology. Students also shape their skill of intercultural learning and noticing – in multiculturalism – the potential for the development of individuals, groups and the environment. This becomes the foundation for the planned use of e-learning tools in lifelong education, social campaigns, social prevention programmes, as well as for counteracting sociopathological phenomena in the not only micro- but also, and first of all, macro-social dimension. Students create projects aimed at making use of this new potential, of the prevention and solving of social problems and at the sensitization of the society to the needs of Others by using ICT.
