Description: | The course is intended to make the students familiar with the key concepts and institutions of law. and the way in which the legal system is constructed, as well as to introduce elementary knowledge on the application of law, legal personhood, legal validity and conditions of legal actions. The syllabus furthermore covers key information on the international and European context of national laws as well fundamental values on which contemporary law is based and the main approaches to understanding and explaining the law and its functions in society. |

lecture [IBLA_fs] | Interactive lectures present basic information being the basis for further activities that include active participation of students. Having mastered the basic concepts and legal constructions, students discuss some legal problems so that the rest of participants may get involved into the discussion. Students learn to apply the theoretical knowledge in order to develop skills to practically used the concepts, language and information acquired during the lecture to formulate, discuss and solve legal problems in the way corresponding to the expected professional standards. |
