Description:
The module Ceramic biomaterials shall enable students achieving competence in the field of basic physical and practical properties of bioceramic materials and in choosing bioceramic materials for medical applications as well as acquiring skills to assess and examine a real structure and selected practical properties of bioceramic materials.
Prerequisites:
It is required to achieve effects of education of the modules: physics, chemistry, thermodynamics, crystallography, rudiments of the materials science as well as introduction to biomaterials.
