Description:
The aim of the subject is to familiarize students with the terminology and analytic methods of morphology as a field of linguistics. The course covers such issues as inflectional morphology in the English language, word-formation techniques, techniques of analysing complex words employed in linguistics, as well as aspects of morphological change and development of the English language, and Englsih-Polish contrastive study of morphological patterns.
