Description: | The aim of the module is to further develop the ability to compose short texts in English by enhancing the ability to plan and provide arguments in the written form using a variety of language registers, correct punctuation, vocabulary and linguistic structures that facilitate writing a well-structured text. The module puts particular emphasis on deepening the knowledge of forms of argumentation and the relationship between the way of argumentation and the purpose of argumentation. The module develops students’ ability to paraphrase and summarise longer texts. |
