Description: | Elective course: students select one out of the offered courses connected with particular English-speaking countries (excluding the UK and the USA)
The module intends to introduce the cultural knowledge, starting from the ability to analyse the terminology of cultural studies, through text analysis, characteristics of communication codes of various dimentions of culture, knowing the mechanisms of the functioning of governmental and cultural institutions to understanding of the most important processes shaping the identitity and its value in multicultural societies.
