Description:
Course description: Students need to gain knowledge and practical skills in using databases. Topics covered: relational databases, data vs information, the structure of databases in theory and practice, primary key, types of relationships. The analysis of a table built by a web database creator. Using query for searching the data. Creating basic forms: the use of forms in databases, creating a first form, 'View Project' mode, an order of access to the elements of the form, searching, filtering and sorting the data in the forms. Generating basic reports. The module aims at preparing the student for further education in the field at the university as well as to work as a teacher.
