Description:
Detailed knowledge concerning the classification of methods used in plant and animal tissues analysis. Introduction to terminology, characteristics of methods and definitions in histological analysis, and basic knowledge of principles of equipment operation used in histological laboratory. Information about the differences between plant and animal tissues preparation for histological analysis. Skills in carrying out histological reactions, recognition of analysed structures with the use of proper microscopical techniques. Skills in working with fluorescence and electron microscopy.
Prerequisites:
Knowledge of plant and animal histology, cell biology.
