Description: | Students in conversation class develop their speaking ability in English at level CAE/CPE-C1, improve the fluency of their speech, their correctness and their accent. Students are also engaged in interactive exercises of communicative skills. During class, particular emphasis is placed upon the development of vocabulary, especially that connected with particular disciplines and (due to the prepared topics) the students’ increased cultural and linguistic awareness. During lessons, attention is also paid to the proper interpretation of linguistic transmissions, and students should practice presenting views based upon their own acquired general knowledge. In the course of the lesson the instructor may utilize various kinds of themes, which can assist in the course of discussion, engage the students to participate actively, and help them to further develop their own interests. |
