Description:
Students continue to develop the skills necessary for consecutive interpreting. Students develop knowledge of the translation process and the essential factors having a direct impact on the outcome of translation. These factors include translation methods and procedures. Students translate texts from Polish into English and from English into Polish. The texts to interpret vary in terms of genre, subject matter and target readership.

In the classroom students must interpret consecutively texts from Polish into English and from English into Polish. Their interpreting outputs are then commented on and evaluated by the teacher. Each student is assessed separately and the teacher gives feedback on a one-to-one basis.
