Elective course - linguistics The module is aimed at exploring issues of linguistics. Students select a detailed course in one of the offered sub-fields of linguistics. The course is run by a specialist in the field.

Tests are conducted throughout the semester, as well as at the end of the semester. 5 – student has broad knowledge of the subject (which goes beyond the issues discussed during lectures and classes). The student fully understands issues discussed and can describe them in his/her own words (giving relevant examples). 4 – the student has good knowledge of issues discussed during lectures and classes (which does not go beyond the material presented by the lecturer). 3 – the student has sufficient knowledge of issues discussed during lectures and classes, but does not fully understands their complexity. 2 – the student has poor knowledge of issues discussed during lectures and classes, s/he does not understand the issues discussed, and does not know linguistic terminology.
