Description: | The aim of the course is to present the issues connected with the research on specialist languages. Classes during winter semester focus on the introduction of topics related to the specialist languages. During this term the following issues will be discussed: general characteristics of specialist languages, an attempt to define specialist languages, differences between general and specialist languages, characteristics of special languages considering lexical, grammatical or textual level (with a particular emphasis to trade and business texts). |
