Description:
Students acquire the knowledge about: soil as the component of the geographical environment, soil factors and processes, composition and basic properties of the soil, morphological features and classification of soils and soil of Poland. Students learn the methodology of laboratory analyses and interpretation of soil maps. In the field classes students acquire the knowledge about forest soils. Students observe associations between soil and flora, will read the soil outcrop practically, interpret thematic maps and to use them in the field.
