Description: | Students acquire and develop skills necessary for consecutive interpreting of different text types such as newspaper and scholarly articles, speeches, etc. Students learn about the interpreting process and the essential factors having a direct impact on the outcome of translation/interpreting. These factors include interpreting methods and procedures. Students interpret texts from Polish into English and from English into Polish. The texts to interpret vary in terms of genre, subject matter and target audience. |
