Description: | The module aims at making students familiar with psychological basis of language and the ways they manifest in language. Thanks to this module a student will become aware of the role that psychology plays in language and will learn to analyze language with use of tools provided by psychology.
1. Formal and functional approach to language: comparing assumptions
2. Psychological aspects of language (consolidation, schematization)
3. Psychological aspects of language (comparing, composing, associating)
4. Linguistic categorization: the model of necessity and sufficiency, the semantics of the prototype in the standard version and in the extended version
5. Gestalt psychology: using selected terms in a lexical and grammatical description
6. Grammatical manifestations of selected cognitive abilities
7. Language as a manifestation of the abilities to construe
