Description: | The module is an introduction to contrastive linguistics, with special emphasis on contrastive analysis of selected aspects of Polish and English and/or different languages included in the programme of the study. It also introduces the terminology of contrastive linguistics. Students are acquainted with the range of contrastive studies and the variety of different realizations of basic universal grammatical categories in various languages. In addition, they are trained in identification and analysis of linguistic phenomena in the contrastive perspective. |
