| Module name: | Implants and artificial organs |
|---|---|
| Module code: | IM2A_ISN |
| Programme code: | W4-S2MAI19.2025 |
| Semester: | winter semester 2026/2027 |
| Language of instruction: | Polish |
| Form of verification: | exam |
| ECTS credits: | 3 |
| Purpose and description of the content of education: | The module Implants and artificial organs shall enable that students are knowledgeable about physio-chemical and mechanical aspects related to implants and artificial organs application in medicine and veterinary medicine. Owing to that students shall achieve understanding of correlations between the construction of implants and artificial organs and possibilities of their shaping and specific conditions of their operation together with limitations. The understanding of those relationships shall result in deepening the knowledge of rules for implants and artificial organs designing for specific applications in medicine and veterinary medicine. |
