|---|---|
| Module code: | IM2A_ WZTB |
| Programme code: | W4-S2MAI19.2025 |
| Semester: | summer semester 2025/2026 |
| Language of instruction: | Polish |
| Form of verification: | exam |
| ECTS credits: | 2 |
| Purpose and description of the content of education: | The module Selected issues from biomaterials toxicology shall enable that students learn issues related to biomaterials toxicology, including terms and definitions such as: toxin (poison), toxicity, degrees of toxicity, types of intoxications, adsorption of toxic substances and biocorrosion. The module shall ensure that students are knowledgeable about toxic action mechanisms and dynamics, based on which students shall understand the importance of biomaterials toxicity and its adverse effects of impact on the organism. The accomplishment of the above objectives will require learning a number of issues from the scope of the first level of education. |
